PGM Crucibles
Typical fabrication materials and purities are: Platinum99.9%, ZGS Platinum, 5% Rhodium/Platinum 99.9%, 10% Rhodium/Platinum99.9%, ZGS 10% Rhodium/Platinum, 20% Rhodium/Platinum99.9%.

PGM Crucibles
Our operators are highly skilled and trained to TIG (tungsten inert gas) weld platinum alloy sheet from 0.35 mm to 10.00 mm thick, achieving full penetration with the minimum of distortion.

Iridium Crucible
Some of the most intriguing items that we produce are Iridium crucibles. They are able to withstand heavy thermocycling at extremely high temperatures. They are used in the manufacturing of crystals for the Telecom industry.

PGM Crucibles
Standard crucibles are supplied flat-bottomed, with an edge radius of ~6.0mm (0.236”). Alternatively we can form a radius at the base to meet specific requirements, or in some cases a complete hemispherical base can be produced.
